This year (2012 departure), two lecturers of English Department, Faculty and Languages and Arts, Semarang State University: Puji Astuti, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Triyoga Dharma Utami, S.Pd., M.Hum. are awarded the scholarship for Course 414 Specialist Certificate in Language Curriculum & Materials Development and Course 416 Specialist Certificate in Action Research for Language Teachers respectively by SEAMEO (Southeast Asia Ministers of Education Organization) RELC (Regional Language Center). The first course will commence on 6 February 2012 and complete on 24 February 2012 and the second will commence on 7 May 2012 and complete on 25 May 2012. SEAMEO annually offers scholarship for four courses: (1) Course 103 Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Linguistic, (2) Course 413 Specialist Certificate in Oral Communication Skills Training, (3) Course 414 Specialist Certificate in Language Curriculum & Materials Development, and (4) Course 416 Specialist Certificate in Action Research for Language Teachers.
